Easy Fermented Pickled Cucumbers
Ingredients
- 1 kg small cucumbers
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 5 cups boiling water
- 5 tablespoons coarse salt
- 1 cup white vinegar
Preparation
Get a suitable jar for the amount of cucumber.
Using a knife, make slits in the cucumber pieces. Place the cucumbers tightly in the jar to fill it. Add garlic and pepper.
Add salt and vinegar to the water. Using a fork, stir the salt until it dissolves completely.
Pour the water and salt mixture over the cucumber. Close the jar tightly.
Place the jar in a cool and dry place for 2 to 3 weeks until the cucumber is pickled, then serve.
