Easy Fermented Pickled Cucumbers

Ingredients

  • 1 kg small cucumbers
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 5 cups boiling water
  • 5 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 1 cup white vinegar

Preparation

  1. Get a suitable jar for the amount of cucumber.

  2. Using a knife, make slits in the cucumber pieces. Place the cucumbers tightly in the jar to fill it. Add garlic and pepper.

  3. Add salt and vinegar to the water. Using a fork, stir the salt until it dissolves completely.

  4. Pour the water and salt mixture over the cucumber. Close the jar tightly.

  5. Place the jar in a cool and dry place for 2 to 3 weeks until the cucumber is pickled, then serve.
