Sesame Ginger Cabbage Slaw

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce (tamari is gluten free)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili sauce
  • 1 tsp of maple syrup or Bee Maplye Syrup (you can also use date paste)
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 tsp sesame oil - OR #OilFree version - 1 tsp of water

Salad

  • 4 cups of red cabbage, thinly sliced

Topping

  • 1 tsp of sesame seeds

Preparation

Sauce

  1. Combine by stirring in a bowl.

Salad

  1. Throw cabbage in a bowl - pour sauce on top and massage until soft. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy.
