Spiced Maca Chai Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 large peeled frozen banana (firm)
  • 1 1/2 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
  • 2 teaspoons raw cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon maca powder (optional)

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender

  2. Blend until smooth

  3. For a thicker consistency, add ice cubes and blend again
