Spiced Maca Chai Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 large peeled frozen banana
- 1 1/2 cup unsweetened plain almond milk
- 2 teaspoons raw cacao powder
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon grated nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 teaspoon maca powder (optional)
Preparation
For a thicker consistency, simply add some ice cubes.
If you're not used to maca, start with a smaller amount.
Consume maca in moderation to avoid potential hormone interactions.
