Plant-Based Savory Chickpea Donuts
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup chickpea flour
- 1 zucchini, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Water as needed (approximately 1/6 cup)
Preparation
Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl
Add grated zucchini, apple cider vinegar, and water to the dry mixture to form a batter of desired consistency
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
Shape the batter into donut forms and fry until golden brown on both sides
Serve as desired, for example over spinach with avocado and dip
