Plant-Based Savory Chickpea Donuts

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chickpea flour
  • 1 zucchini, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Water as needed (approximately 1/6 cup)

Preparation

  1. Mix all dry ingredients together in a bowl

  2. Add grated zucchini, apple cider vinegar, and water to the dry mixture to form a batter of desired consistency

  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat

  4. Shape the batter into donut forms and fry until golden brown on both sides

  5. Serve as desired, for example over spinach with avocado and dip
