Cheese and Hazelnut Mini Desserts
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soft butter
- 1/2 cup soft cream cheese
- 1 cup flour
Filling
- 1 teaspoon melted butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup roasted ground hazelnuts
Decoration
- Powdered sugar
Preparation
Set the rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 180°C.
Prepare small mini cupcake molds and grease them with shortening.
In a mixer bowl, place the butter, cream cheese, and flour. Use the paddle attachment and mix on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until dough forms and pulls away from the sides.
Divide the dough into 24 equal pieces. Shape each into a smooth ball and place in the molds. Use your index finger to press the dough into the cup shape, covering the bottom and sides.
For the filling: In a deep bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, and ground hazelnuts. Mix with a small spoon until blended, then distribute the mixture into the dough cups.
Bake the cheese and hazelnut sweets for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the molds. Carefully remove from the cups, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and serve.
