No-Bake Chocolate Mousse Cake with Cookie Crust
Ingredients
- 100 g butter cookies
- 400 ml milk
- 2 packets instant dessert cream mix (no-cook)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 500 g heavy cream
- 100 g dark chocolate shavings
Preparation
Prepare a baking frame (39x21 cm) on a cake plate and line the bottom with butter cookies
Beat instant dessert cream mix with milk, vanilla extract, and sugar for about 5 minutes until thick and firm
Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold into the cream mixture
Spread the mixture evenly over the cookie layer and smooth the top
Crush dark chocolate shavings in their bag and sprinkle over the cake
Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until set
Tips
You can use any flavor of instant dessert cream mix (chocolate, vanilla, or white chocolate) according to your preference; the cake will turn out delicious every time
