Turkish Stuffed Peppers with Rice
Ingredients
- Bell peppers
- 3 cups rice
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon pepper paste
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 3 onions
- 3 tomatoes
- 4-5 cloves garlic
- Half bunch parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried mint
- Lemon salt or pomegranate molasses (to taste)
Preparation
Clean and wash the insides of the peppers, then turn them upside down to drain.
Wash the rice thoroughly.
Finely chop the onion, garlic, parsley, and tomato, or process them in a food processor.
Add all the ingredients and mix well.
Adjust the sourness with lemon salt or pomegranate molasses to your taste.
Stuff the mixture into the prepared peppers.
Cook the stuffed peppers until tender.
