Semolina Custard Dessert with Pistachios

Ingredients

  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 cup fine semolina
  • 1/4 cup custard powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons orange blossom water

For serving

  • Ground pistachio
  • Syrup

Preparation

  1. Bring a round, shallow oven dish and grease it with a little oil.

  2. In a medium pot, place the milk, semolina, custard powder, sugar, and orange blossom water. Place the pot on medium heat and stir with a wooden spoon until a smooth pudding forms.

  3. Pour the semolina mixture into the dish and place it in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.

  4. Using a sharp knife, cut the semolina dessert into triangles or desired shapes.

  5. In a deep plate, place a generous amount of ground pistachio.

  6. Dip the edges of the triangles in the pistachio and then place them directly on a serving plate.

  7. Serve the semolina custard dessert with the syrup.
