Semolina Custard Dessert with Pistachios
Ingredients
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup fine semolina
- 1/4 cup custard powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons orange blossom water
For serving
- Ground pistachio
- Syrup
Preparation
Bring a round, shallow oven dish and grease it with a little oil.
In a medium pot, place the milk, semolina, custard powder, sugar, and orange blossom water. Place the pot on medium heat and stir with a wooden spoon until a smooth pudding forms.
Pour the semolina mixture into the dish and place it in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
Using a sharp knife, cut the semolina dessert into triangles or desired shapes.
In a deep plate, place a generous amount of ground pistachio.
Dip the edges of the triangles in the pistachio and then place them directly on a serving plate.
Serve the semolina custard dessert with the syrup.
