Easy Vegan Creamy Mushroom Pasta
Ingredients
- 500g mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup (180ml) white wine or vegetable stock
- 1 3/4 cup (430ml) plant milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 250g pasta
Preparation
Cook the pasta according to package instructions and reserve some pasta water.
Fry the mushrooms, onion, and garlic until softened.
Add the flour and stir to combine.
Deglaze with white wine or vegetable stock and add the plant milk.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
Stir in the cooked pasta, adding reserved pasta water if needed to adjust consistency.
