One Pan Chicken Parmesan
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 4 chicken cutlets
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1/3 cup italian breadcrumbs
- 6 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced
- Fresh basil, to garnish
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a 10-inch cast iron pan over medium heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side. Remove the chicken and add the sauce.
In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs and the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
Add the chicken back to the skillet. Top with the breadcrumbs and a slice of mozzarella cheese.
Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the sauce is bubbly and the cheese is melted. Garnish with basil.
