Chipotle Sweet Potato Fries and Beef Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 large sweet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- chipotle powder
- pink Himalayan salt
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 cup mushrooms
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- salt to taste
Preparation
Cut 2 large sweet potatoes into fries and coat with 1 tablespoon olive oil, chipotle powder, and pink Himalayan salt.
Bake the sweet potato fries at 425°F for 30 minutes, then for an additional 15 minutes.
In a pan, sauté 1/2 diced onion, 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms, and 1/2 cup chopped spinach in olive oil for 5 minutes.
In a bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables with 1 pound ground beef, 1 teaspoon garlic, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon chili powder, and a sprinkle of salt.
Form the mixture into 7 burger patties.
Cook the burgers over medium heat in olive oil for 5 minutes on each side.
Transfer the burgers to the oven and bake at 425°F for 5 minutes.
Check the internal temperature to ensure the burgers are done.
