Dark Chocolate Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegan butter, regular butter works great! ⁣
  • 1 1/2 cups dark chocolate, chopped or chips⁣⁣
  • 4 eggs, room temp⁣⁣
  • 1 tsp. vanilla⁣⁣
  • 1 1/2 cups coconut sugar or any granulated sugar or half white half brown.⁣⁣
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour, sifted⁣⁣
  • 1/2 cup dutch processed cocoa powder, sifted⁣ (any cocoa will work!!) ⁣
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder⁣⁣
  • 1 tsp. ground coffee⁣⁣
  • 1/2 tsp. salt⁣⁣

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease and line a 9x9 metal baking pan with parchment paper

  2. Melt butter until just melted, add your chocolate and stir it together until fully melted together

  3. Set aside to cool down

  4. Beat together eggs, sugar + vanilla 5-8 minutes until light, fluffy, and doubled in size

  5. DON’T NOT SKIP

  6. Slowly pour in chocolate mixture and whisk together to just barley combine

  7. Sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, ground coffee + salt all into wet mixture and fold until just combined

  8. It's okay if there are some dry streaks, as we don't want to deflate the eggs

  9. Bake for 25-30 mins, until just set
