Potato Casserole with Cheese

Ingredients

  • 3 cups grated potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 small grated onion
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Preparation

  1. Set the rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 180°C.

  2. Grease a 9-inch baking dish with fat.

  3. In a deep bowl, combine grated potatoes, flour, salt, pepper, and grated onion and mix with a wooden spoon.

  4. Spread half of the potato mixture in the dish, add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, then the remaining potato mixture, followed by the remaining cheddar and parmesan cheese, pour milk and melted butter over the top and sprinkle with paprika.

  5. Bake for 50 minutes and serve.

Tips

  1. This dish is very delicious and can be served to kids as a main course or a light meal alongside fried chicken.
