Baked Sausage and Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3 large potatoes, cut into thick slices and fried
  • 2 small packs of sausages
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups liquid cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and prepare a suitable oven dish

  2. In a medium pot, heat the oil, add the onion and stir until wilted, then add the sausages, red pepper, salt, and black pepper, stir to mix and cook on medium heat for 2 minutes

  3. Place half of the potatoes in the oven dish, add the sausage mixture, and then add a second layer of potatoes

  4. Spread the cream over the top, sprinkle the cheese, and bake in the oven for 20 minutes until golden
