Special Red Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 tb whipped greek yogurt cream cheese (lower in fat)
  • 1 cup chicken broth low sodium
  • 2 sweet yellow onions⁣
  • 2 sweet red bell peppers⁣
  • 1 bunch of fresh basil⁣
  • 1-2 tb tomato paste (thickener) ⁣
  • garlic, italian seasoning, pink salt, pepper⁣

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425: Cut up bell peppers & yellow onions .. spray with coconut oil spray⁣

  2. Roast for 25-40 min or until soft ⁣

  3. Blend all ingredients in a blender/ food processor ⁣

  4. Taste & see if you need to add more spice, or if too thick, add more chicken broth!⁣
