Diy Black Bean Protein Powder

Ingredients

  • 1 can (400g) black beans
  • 2-3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 2-3 tablespoons coconut blossom sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hemp seeds

Preparation

  1. Remove the black beans from the can and dry them with a clean tea towel.

  2. Spread them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius until super crispy.

  3. Let the beans cool, then place them in a food processor, blender, or bean grinder. Add the cocoa powder, coconut blossom sugar, and hemp seeds, and blend until a fine powder is formed.

Tips

  1. This protein powder is not ideal for making shakes with water or milk, but it can be used in smoothies, baked goods, or oatmeal.
