Flourless Vegan Blender Brownies

Ingredients

  • 6 large bananas
  • 1 cup almond butter (can substitute for peanut butter or another nut/seed butter)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips of choice (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line a square pan with parchment paper and set aside.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the bananas and mash well or blend them for a smoother batter, then add the rest of the ingredients and mix well, folding through chocolate chips if desired.

  3. Pour the mixture into the lined pan and bake for 17-20 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

  4. Allow the brownies to cool in the pan completely before slicing into pieces.

Tips

  1. For the best texture, enjoy refrigerated.
