Flourless Vegan Blender Brownies

Ingredients

  • 6 large bananas
  • 1 cup almond butter (can substitute for peanut butter or another nut/seed butter)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder

Optional

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips of choice

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and line a square pan with parchment paper, then set aside.

  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the bananas and mash well. Alternatively, blend them for a smoother batter. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. If desired, fold through chocolate chips.

  3. Pour the mixture into the lined pan and bake for 17-20 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean.

  4. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan before slicing into pieces.

Tips

  1. For the best texture, enjoy refrigerated.
