Easy Chocolate Hummus for Healthy Snacking

Ingredients

  • 230g tinned chickpeas, skins removed
  • 4tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4tsp fine sea salt
  • 3-4tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2tsp vanilla extract
  • 2tbsp water

Accompaniments

  • Salted pretzels
  • Dark chocolate chips
  • Berries
  • Rice cakes
  • Crackers

Preparation

  1. Remove skins from chickpeas for a smoother texture.

  2. Blend all ingredients except water together.

  3. Add water and blend again until smooth.
