Papaya Coconut Lime Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 160 g papaya, cut into cubes and frozen
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 4 ice cubes
  • shredded or desiccated coconut (to serve)

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth.

  2. Pour into a glass and garnish with coconut. Enjoy!

Health tips

  1. Papaya contains the enzyme papain which assists with protein digestion and is great to have first thing in the morning.

  2. Consider adding a tablespoon of plant-based protein powder or hemp seeds for extra nutrition.
