Lavender Lemonade with Simple Syrup
Ingredients
Lavender simple syrup
- big handful of lavender buds
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup granulated sweetener
Lavender lemonade
- 2 tablespoons lavender simple syrup
- 1 lemon, juiced
- sparkling water
Preparation
Lavender simple syrup
Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool.
Transfer to airtight jars and optionally strain out the lavender using a fine mesh strainer before storing in the fridge.
Lavender lemonade
Wet the rim of a glass with lemon juice and press into lemon zest and granulated swerve for garnish, if desired.
Fill glass with ice.
Pour in all ingredients and stir to combine.
Garnish with a lavender sprig.
