Lavender Lemonade with Simple Syrup

Ingredients

Lavender simple syrup

  • big handful of lavender buds
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup granulated sweetener

Lavender lemonade

  • 2 tablespoons lavender simple syrup
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • sparkling water

Preparation

Lavender simple syrup

  1. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.

  2. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and let cool.

  4. Transfer to airtight jars and optionally strain out the lavender using a fine mesh strainer before storing in the fridge.

Lavender lemonade

  1. Wet the rim of a glass with lemon juice and press into lemon zest and granulated swerve for garnish, if desired.

  2. Fill glass with ice.

  3. Pour in all ingredients and stir to combine.

  4. Garnish with a lavender sprig.
