Plant-Based Fishless Fingers with Mash and Peas on Toast

Ingredients

  • Lidl bakery cheese bloomer
  • Moving Mountains plant-based fingers
  • Batchelors mushy peas
  • Powdered mashed potato mix
  • Chives
  • Onion salt
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Hellmann's chilli and garlic sauce
  • Sea salt
  • Chilli flakes
  • Parsley

Preparation

  1. Toast the cheese bloomer bread slices.

  2. Pan fry the plant-based fingers until golden brown.

  3. Prepare mashed potatoes by mixing the powdered mix with boiling water and stirring in chives and onion salt.

  4. Heat the mushy peas in a saucepan or microwave.

  5. Assemble the dish by placing the fried fingers, mashed potatoes, and heated peas on the toasted bread.

  6. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and chilli garlic sauce, then sprinkle with sea salt, chilli flakes, and parsley.
