Four Bean Vegan Chilli

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 peppers, chopped
  • 1 tin baked beans
  • 1 tin kidney beans
  • 2 x tin of beans of your choice (I used black and butter beans)
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 veg stock cube
  • 2 chunks of dark chocolate
  • 1 tin chopped tomatoes

Preparation

  1. Add the onion and peppers to a pan and fry for five minutes.

  2. Add all the remaining ingredients and stir together.

  3. Add a good splash of water and mix in.

  4. Leave to simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce has thickened up.
