Apples Are Tasting Better
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- pinch of ground ginger
- pinch of nutmeg
- pinch of salt
- 1 date, pitted and diced
- 1 cup almond milk ?
Preparation
Combine all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. A
Allow to cook for about 3-4 minutes to allow apples to get tender
Feel free to adjust seasoning or sweetness as desired. Then top with extra cooked apple
I cooked some of the slices with a little more date syrup and a pinch of salt until they softened slightly (about 2-3 minutes)
