Apples Are Tasting Better

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of ground ginger
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 date, pitted and diced
  • 1 cup almond milk ?

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a simmer. A

  2. Allow to cook for about 3-4 minutes to allow apples to get tender

  3. Feel free to adjust seasoning or sweetness as desired. Then top with extra cooked apple

  4. I cooked some of the slices with a little more date syrup and a pinch of salt until they softened slightly (about 2-3 minutes)
