Easy Rustic Crusty Bread
Ingredients
- 6 cups flour (all purpose or gluten free)
- 1 packet instant dry yeast
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 cups warm water
Preparation
Mix the flour, yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
Add warm water and stir until a shaggy dough forms.
Cover the bowl and let the dough rise at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C) with a Dutch oven inside.
Carefully transfer the dough to the hot Dutch oven and bake for 30 minutes covered.
Remove the cover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until crusty and golden.
