Baked Chicken Penne Casserole

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet
  • 1 onion
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 200g mushrooms
  • 1 cup corn
  • Penne pasta as needed
  • Spices: salt, black pepper, paprika, curry powder, garlic powder, curry powder

Béchamel sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 or 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Preparation

  1. Sauté chopped onion and bell pepper with oil, then add cubed chicken

  2. When chicken changes color, add boiled mushrooms, corn, and spices, then pour in some boiling water or a mixture of boiling water and lemon juice

  3. When ingredients are well mixed, add a little béchamel sauce and mix thoroughly

  4. In an oven-safe dish, pour béchamel sauce, add cooked pasta, top with the prepared mixture, pour more béchamel on top, and finally add mozzarella cheese

  5. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes

Béchamel sauce

  1. Mix butter and flour together and place on heat until the flour dissolves in the butter

  2. Add milk, grate garlic into it, add salt and pepper, and stir until the mixture thickens
