Baked French Toast with Maple Syrup and Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • Organic maple syrup
  • Butter

Preparation

  1. Cut the sourdough bread into cubes.

  2. Mix all the ingredients together (egg, egg white, cinnamon, vanilla, coconut sugar, and almond milk).

  3. Add the bread cubes to the mixture and let it soak for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  4. Bake at 400°F for 35-40 minutes.

  5. Top with organic maple syrup and butter before serving.
