Crispy Oil-Free Gluten-Free Cauliflower Bites

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup brown rice flour
  • 2 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into 2-inch florets
  • 1/3 cup hot sauce or barbecue sauce

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper

  2. Combine the flours, tomato paste, seasonings, and 2/3 cup of water in a blender until a smooth, thick batter is created

  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and add in the cauliflower, then toss until well coated

  4. Place the florets on the baking sheets and bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy

  5. Allow to cool for at least 3 minutes to crisp up even more, and serve immediately
