Glazed Lemon Cauliflower Wings

Ingredients

Wings

  • 1 head of cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp oil

Sauce

  • 1/4 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1-2 cloves garlic
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of powdered ginger
  • 2 tsp arrowroot powder
  • lemon zest

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F

  2. Mix the flour, milk, and oil together until fully combined, then fold in the florets.

  3. Lay the covered florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 35 minutes.

  4. Over low heat, bring all sauce ingredients together except the arrowroot powder and zest.

  5. Once florets are done, remove from oven.

  6. Add arrowroot powder to sauce and whisk over medium heat until it thickens.

  7. Pour sauce over florets and fold until fully covered.

  8. Transfer to a large bowl and garnish with lemon zest.
