Miso Maple Glazed Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts
Glaze
- 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons white miso
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup hot water
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425°F
Cut off the woody bottom of the Brussels sprouts and halve them
In a large bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients
Add the Brussels sprouts to the bowl and gently toss to coat
Layer the Brussels sprouts on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with fresh cracked pepper
Bake for 20 minutes, then flip, and bake for another 15 minutes
Optionally, broil for 2-3 minutes, checking regularly to avoid burning
Add a sprinkle of sea salt flakes and serve
