Air Fryer Egg Cooking Methods

Ingredients

Soft-boiled eggs

  • Eggs

Eggs in purgatory

  • Tomato sauce (passata)
  • Eggs
  • Parmesan cheese

Poached egg

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 egg

Preparation

Soft-boiled eggs

  1. Place eggs in air fryer and cook at 180°C for 6 to 7 minutes.

  2. Cool in cold water for a couple of minutes before peeling.

Eggs in purgatory

  1. Pour seasoned tomato sauce directly into air fryer.

  2. Break eggs and add parmesan, then cook at 200°C for 6 to 7 minutes.

  3. For a firmer yolk, increase cooking time to 8 minutes.

Poached egg

  1. In a container, add 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon vinegar, and 1 egg.

  2. Cook in air fryer at 200°C for 8 minutes until the poached egg is ready.

Omelette

  1. Break eggs into air fryer, beat them, and add filling such as ham, cheese, and mushrooms.

  2. Cook at 180°C for 10 minutes.

Frittata

  1. Break eggs into air fryer, beat them, add salt, pepper, and vegetables.

  2. Cook at 180°C for 12 to 15 minutes.
