Barbie Themed Pink Beetroot Pasta
Ingredients
Pasta
- 300 g fusilli pasta
- Water, for boiling
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped parsley
Pink sauce
- 150 g beetroot, peeled and boiled
- 300 ml whipping cream
- 100 g grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation
Boil fusilli pasta in boiling water with salt and oil until al dente, then drain
For the pink sauce, blend boiled beetroot, whipping cream, cheddar cheese, salt, and ground black pepper until smooth
Place the pasta in a large bowl and pour the pink sauce over it, then mix well
Serve topped with chopped parsley
