Boiled Corn with Butter and Spices
Ingredients
- Corn cobs (cleaned)
- Butter
- Black pepper
- Sweet paprika
- Salt
- Water (enough to cover the corn)
Preparation
Clean the corn from leaves and fibers.
Place the leaves and fibers at the bottom of a pot.
Add the corn to the pot.
Add butter, black pepper, sweet paprika, and a bit of salt.
Pour in enough water to fully cover the corn.
Boil on medium heat.
Cook for 20-25 minutes after boiling starts for young corn, or 35-40 minutes for mature corn.
