Boiled Corn with Butter and Spices

Ingredients

  • Corn cobs (cleaned)
  • Butter
  • Black pepper
  • Sweet paprika
  • Salt
  • Water (enough to cover the corn)

Preparation

  1. Clean the corn from leaves and fibers.

  2. Place the leaves and fibers at the bottom of a pot.

  3. Add the corn to the pot.

  4. Add butter, black pepper, sweet paprika, and a bit of salt.

  5. Pour in enough water to fully cover the corn.

  6. Boil on medium heat.

  7. Cook for 20-25 minutes after boiling starts for young corn, or 35-40 minutes for mature corn.
