Easy Turkish Lahmacun Flatbread
Ingredients
- 3 sheets of yufka
- 500 grams ground meat
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teacup vegetable oil
- 2 red and green peppers
- 1 onion
- a handful of parsley
- 1 tomato
- red pepper
- red pepper flakes
- black pepper
- salt
Sauce
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teacup water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation
Optionally blend the onion, peppers, and tomato together.
Mix all the topping ingredients together.
Prepare the sauce by combining its ingredients.
Fold the edges of the yufka sheets and apply the sauce over them.
Spread the mixed topping evenly over the sauced yufka.
Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake on the bottom rack for 10-15 minutes, monitoring to prevent overcooking.
Remove from the oven and serve.
Tips
Do not bake for too long as it may dry out.
