Super Creamy Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas or frozen
  • 1/4 cup ground rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 Tbsp Maca powder (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp milled flaxseed
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup coconut yoghurt
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup of crushed ice (optional)

Preparation

  1. Place banana, rolled oats, flaxseed, cacao powder, almond milk, coconut yogurt, maple syrup and ice into the blender.

  2. Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy.

Tips

  1. Add vegan whipped cream, melted biscoff spread, and cacao nibs for a fancy treat.

  2. Incorporate 1 or 2 shots of espresso if you enjoy coffee.

  3. Mix in 1 serving of vegan protein powder for post-workout consumption.
