These Chilly Mornings Need Chocolate and Almond Butter Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of porridge oats
  • 2 cups of coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp of cacao powder
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp of almond butter ~

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and gently cook over a low heat for 5 mins stirring regularly until the milk has been absorbed by the oats

  2. Add a little extra milk or water if the porridge is too thick

  3. Serve warm, topped with coconut yoghurt, coconut chips, cacao nibs plus a little drizzle of maple syrup
