These Chilly Mornings Need Chocolate and Almond Butter Porridge
Ingredients
- 1 cup of porridge oats
- 2 cups of coconut milk
- 1 tbsp of cacao powder
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp of almond butter ~
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and gently cook over a low heat for 5 mins stirring regularly until the milk has been absorbed by the oats
Add a little extra milk or water if the porridge is too thick
Serve warm, topped with coconut yoghurt, coconut chips, cacao nibs plus a little drizzle of maple syrup
