Vegan Butternut Cashew Pasta Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup roasted butternut squash
  • 1/3 cup soaked cashews
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic (optional, omit if sensitive tummy)
  • 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast (optional)
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons liquid (water, bone broth, or nut milk of choice)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor until desired consistency.

  2. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
