Corn and Spinach Appe with Cheesy Dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled sweetcorn
- 1 bunch spinach
- 1 medium onion
- 1 cup semolina
- 1/2 cup sour curd
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 3-4 chopped green chilies and coriander
- salt as per taste
- oil
Cheesy dip
- 1 cheese cube
- 100 grams paneer
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
- salt and black pepper
Preparation
Take a mixer jar and finely chop sweetcorn, spinach, and onion separately
Take semolina and curd in a mixing bowl, mix them and let it soak for a while
Add cumin seeds, chopped green chilies and coriander
Add salt as per taste
Mix well to make a thick batter
Heat an appe pan and put oil in all cavities
Add batter in each cavity
Cover with a lid and cook on slow to medium heat on both sides
For the cheesy dip, take a mixer jar and add cheese cube, paneer, milk, salt and black pepper
Churn to make a thick paste and the dip is ready
Enjoy the corn palak appe with the cheesy dip
