Easy and Healthy Roasted Chickpeas Snack

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Optional additions

  • Any other spices you like
  • Oil or cooking spray, if desired

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 200/400 degrees.

  2. Toss chickpeas, salt, and spices together in a small bowl until evenly coated.

  3. Spread chickpeas evenly on a cookie sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are hard and crunchy. It may take longer, so check for desired crunchiness.

  4. Store in an airtight container.

Tips

  1. Pat dry the chickpeas after rinsing for better results.

  2. Optionally use oil or cooking spray to enhance crispiness.
