Homemade Crispy Crinkle Cut Chips

Ingredients

  • 700g Potatoes that are good for chips
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Cut the potatoes into crinkle shapes using a crinkle cutter or a knife

  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, cornflour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper

  3. Toss the potato slices in the mixture until evenly coated

  4. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F)

  5. Spread the coated potatoes on a baking tray in a single layer

  6. Bake for 25-35 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy
