Simple Spiced Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

Optional additions

  • Any other spices you like
  • Oil or cooking spray (optional)

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. Toss chickpeas, salt, and spices together in a small bowl until evenly coated.

  3. Spread chickpeas evenly on a cookie sheet and bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally until hard and crunchy.

Tips

  1. It may take longer than 40 minutes, so check for desired crunchiness.

  2. Store in an airtight container.
