Maple Spiced Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 2 cans of chickpeas
  • 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-2 tablespoons coconut oil

Preparation

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas until completely dry.

  2. Add the drained chickpeas to a bowl along with the coconut oil.

  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Spread the chickpeas on the baking sheet and bake for around 25 minutes.

  5. After baking, transfer the chickpeas to a bowl and add the maple syrup, smoked paprika powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix everything well together.

  6. Return the chickpeas to the baking sheet and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
