Maple Spiced Roasted Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 2 cans of chickpeas
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-2 tablespoons coconut oil
Preparation
Drain and rinse the chickpeas until completely dry.
Add the drained chickpeas to a bowl along with the coconut oil.
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Spread the chickpeas on the baking sheet and bake for around 25 minutes.
After baking, transfer the chickpeas to a bowl and add the maple syrup, smoked paprika powder, garlic powder, and salt. Mix everything well together.
Return the chickpeas to the baking sheet and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
