Honey-Cinnamon Roasted Chickpeas Snack
Ingredients
- 1 15oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Rinse and use a towel to gently dry the chickpeas. Place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through
Mix the other ingredients in a bowl, then toss the chickpeas to coat after they have baked for 20 minutes. Return them to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until crunchy
Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving
Tips
This snack is a cheaper alternative to buying seasoned chickpeas and contains no additives
It provides protein, fat, carbs, and fiber, making it ideal for meal prepping
