Crunchy Honey-Cinnamon Roasted Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 1 15oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Rinse and gently dry the chickpeas with a towel. Place them on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Mix the other ingredients in a bowl. After the chickpeas have baked, toss them to coat and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until crunchy.
Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.
Tips
This snack has a prep time of about 3 minutes and provides protein, fat, carbs, and fiber.
It is a cheaper alternative to store-bought seasoned chickpeas and contains no additives.
