Crunchy Honey-Cinnamon Roasted Chickpeas

Ingredients

  • 1 15oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Rinse and gently dry the chickpeas with a towel. Place them on the baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.

  3. Mix the other ingredients in a bowl. After the chickpeas have baked, toss them to coat and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until crunchy.

  4. Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.

Tips

  1. This snack has a prep time of about 3 minutes and provides protein, fat, carbs, and fiber.

  2. It is a cheaper alternative to store-bought seasoned chickpeas and contains no additives.
