Sweet and Salty Roasted Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 1 15oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Rinse and use a towel to gently dry the chickpeas. Place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Mix the other ingredients in a bowl, toss the chickpeas to coat after they have baked for 40 minutes. Return them to the oven for another 10-15 minutes until crunchy.
Remove from oven and let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before munching.
Notes
This is a much cheaper option than buying a $5+ snack bag of seasoned chickpeas and contains no weird additives.
It is an easy snack with 3 minute prep time that includes protein, fat, carbs, and fiber.
