Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges
Ingredients
- 2 medium sweet potatoes (460 g), cut into wedges
- 1 1/2 Tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt, plus more to taste
- Black pepper and chili powder to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Preparation
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F/190°C. Meanwhile, wash, dry, and optionally peel the sweet potatoes.
Slice each potato in half lengthwise, place it flat-side down on the chopping board, and slice at an angle into 3/4 -1 inch wedges.
Transfer the wedges to a large mixing bowl, drizzle with oil and seasonings, and toss well to coat evenly.
Spread the wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space for airflow. Avoid overcrowding and work in batches if necessary.
Air fry for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender inside with crispy edges. Enjoy!
For crispier results
Soak the wedges in cold water for 10-15 minutes, then dry them thoroughly. Optionally, add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch or potato starch.
