Extra Creamy Classic Hummus
Ingredients
- 2 (15-ounce) cans organic chickpeas
- 1 cup good quality tahini
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Chickpea juice (from 1 can)
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
Preparation
Drain one can of chickpeas and reserve the liquid from the second can
Blend everything in a high-speed blender until smooth and creamy
Plate the hummus in a shallow bowl
Decorate with chopped purple onions, roasted chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, parsley, lemon wedges, and crushed red pepper
Serve with warm pita bread
