Extra Creamy Classic Hummus

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) organic chickpeas, drained
  • 1 cup good quality tahini
  • Juice from one lemon
  • Chickpea juice from one can
  • 3-4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Preparation

  1. Blend everything in a high speed blender until smooth and creamy

  2. Plate the hummus in a shallow bowl

  3. Decorate with chopped purple onions, roasted chickpeas, cherry tomatoes, parsley, lemon wedges, and crushed red pepper

  4. Enjoy with warm pita bread
