Honey Lemon Grilled Tofu

Ingredients

  • 1 block (450g) firm tofu
  • Half of a lemon
  • 4 tablespoons agave nectar or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar

Preparation

  1. Mix the lemon juice, agave, tamari, and vinegar together and set aside

  2. Drain the water from your block of tofu

  3. Slice your tofu into 2-inch slices and then cut them diagonally

  4. In a medium-high heat griddle pan, grill all of your pieces for 2 minutes on each side

  5. Coat your pieces with the honey lemon dressing and serve
